Print, cut, apply
Print at 100%
Open the PDF, set scaling to Actual size (never "Fit to page"), best quality, on printable vinyl. Measure the 100 mm check bar on the sheet. If it isn't 100 mm, your printer scaled it.
Laminate (optional, worth it)
A matte laminate sheet over the print protects the ink from fingers and stops the sheen. Apply it before cutting so the layers get cut together.
Cut the outline first
Steel ruler and a fresh blade. Cut the outer edge and the straight cutouts along the 0.2 mm lines. Cut sheet 2's join edge dead clean; it lands on sheet 1's dashed join line.
Circles with a compass cutter
Knobs and the data wheel are circles. A compass cutter set to the radius gives a clean hole; freehand with a knife works if you go slow and take two passes.
Clean the panel
Isopropyl on a lint-free cloth, then dry. Dust under vinyl shows forever. Power the machine off.
Hinge and squeegee
Line up the screen cutout first, tape the top edge as a hinge, peel the backing down in stages and squeegee from the centre out. Overlap sheet 2 onto the join strip. Done.

Printable vinyl sheets
Inkjet or laser, match your printer. Removable adhesive if you want it to come off clean later. A4 or Letter, at least 2 sheets per skin.

Self-adhesive cold laminate. Kills glare under studio lights and keeps the print from wearing where your palm rests.

A #11 blade knife. Buy the pack of blades; a dull blade tears vinyl at the corners of the pad cutouts.

Adjustable-radius cutter for the Q-Link knobs and data wheel. The one tool that separates a clean job from a ragged one.

A cork-backed steel rule won't slip on laminate. A self-healing mat under it saves your desk and your blade.

Vinyl application squeegee with a felt edge. Pushes air out without scratching the laminate. A credit card in a sock works in a pinch.
Check price on AmazonTemplate status
Every template starts as a draft built from the manufacturer's published dimensions and community measurements, then gets flipped to verified once someone has checked it against a real unit with calipers. Draft templates are close; print the free SVG on plain paper first and hold it on the machine before you cut vinyl.

Straight answers
Does a skin void it?
A removable vinyl skin on the outside of the case is cosmetic. It doesn't open the machine or touch the electronics. Peel it off before a service visit and nobody will know.
Why two sheets?
The MPC One panel is 272 mm square. A4 is 210 wide, Letter is 216. The designer splits the skin where no cutout is, adds an overlap strip, and marks the join. On A3 or Tabloid it's one sheet.
Where does my art go?
Nowhere. The designer is plain JavaScript running on your machine. The only network call is licence-key verification if you buy Unlimited.
INPUT WANTED
Measured your panel? Want a model added?
Calipers on a pad, a knob, a screen bezel, and a photo of your finished skin: that's what flips a template from draft to verified and moves a model up the list. Verified testers get Unlimited free.
